Currently, each weight class is soft capped at 16 players, and will expand up to a maximum of 32 players. Once a weight class has 16 players, a preliminary bracket will be released!
When a weight class has 16 players, you may continue to sign-up for that weight class! However, you will be put in the on deck circle. Once three other players have also signed up, the four of you will be moved from the on deck circle to the bracket, and the bracket will be re-scrambled!
In the on deck circle, you will be listed in the order you signed up. This will be done on a first come, first serve basis.
Now, unfortunately this formatting does mean that unless the weight class is maxed out at 16 or 32 players, some players will have a BYE. I apologize for this, however there was no other way around this without forcing a minimum player requirement.
If a weight class is capped at 32 players, you may sign up for it however you will be put on the waiting list. If someone is to drop out of the tournament, you will be notified and moved into the bracket. This will be done on a first come, first serve basis.
