Date and Start Time:
• May 2nd, 2015.
• Matches kickoff at 9amPST/10amMT/11amCST/12pmEST.
The Format:
• One vs One
• Random Seeding.
• Conquest, Theta Cap Only.
• Forest Colony. Forest Colony Snow version an option if both players agree.
• 10 minute time limit.
• First Person View only.
• Best of three.
• Single Elimination.
Matches and Rounds Explained:
• Each series of match rounds per elimination round would start at the top of the hour, and must be completed with results submitted by forty five minutes past the hour. For example, the match starts at 12pm and results must be submitted by 12:45pm. Next match starts at 1pm, results by 1:45pm, etc. The goal is a “set” schedule for the event so people know when their match is happening.
• If your opponent is ready and willing, you may start your match early.
• If your opponent fails to show up within 10 minutes of the matches start time, they forfeit the match.
• Matches are not required to start exactly at the top of the hour, but results must be submitted no later than forty five minutes past. No exceptions.
• A maximum of one minute is allowed between rounds. Violation of this will be classed as a valid grievance, and forfeiture of the match by the offending player.
• All matches must be completed in the 45 minute window, no exceptions. Matches that are not completed will result in both players being disqualified.
• The Championship Matches of each weight class will have their matches staggered for streaming purposes. You will be given a minimum 15 minutes notice before your match is expected to start.
Submitting Match Results:
• Screenshots of each round must be posted upon the completion of the match. They must be posted in your weight class specific forum.
• A simple title such as "Heimdelight vs Proton" is sufficient.
• Post Light Mech Results here: mechmasters.proboards.com/board/4/light-mech-results
• Post Medium Mech Results here: mechmasters.proboards.com/board/5/medium-mech-results
• Post Heavy Mech Results here: mechmasters.proboards.com/board/6/heavy-mech-results
• Post Assault Mech Results here: mechmasters.proboards.com/board/7/assault-mech-results
Re-drops:
• You may only re-drop once per match. No exceptions.
• A re-drop may only be requested within the first minute of a round. No exceptions.
• The first time a player's game disconnects/crashes within the first minute of a round, it will automatically be a re-drop.
• Additional re-drops may only be granted by your opponent, keep in mind the impact re-drops have on the matches duration and if results are not submitted by 45 minutes past the hour, BOTH players are disqualified.
Best of 3 Format:
• Round 1: Conquest, Theta Cap only, 10 minute time limit.
• Round 2: Conquest, Theta Cap only, 10 minute time limit.
• Round 3: Conquest, Theta Cap only, 10 minute time limit.
Round Tie breakers:
• Conquest Points > Damage.
Match Tie breakers:
• Total Kills > Total Conquest Points > Damage
Cap rules:
• Theta Cap only, if another point is capped, the offending player can only win by destroying his opponent.
• If you capture an illegal cap point, you can still win the round by destroying your opponent, however you will not earn any Conquest points.
• If you capture or make neutral your opponents "home" cap point, it will be treated as a Cap point violation and you must destroy your opponent to win. You will not earn any Conquest points and your opponent will be credited with 250 Conquest points.
Spawns and Maps:
• Seeding is random, the player at the top of the bracket will choose spawn for the first round.
• The Loser of the first round will choose the spawn for the second round.
• The Winner of the first round will choose the spawn for the third (if necessary) round.
• Forest Colony Snow may be substituted in place of standard Forest Colony. Both players must agree. No other maps may be substituted.
Example of Tournament Progression with 16 players and CST timezone:
• First round elimination matches begin at 11am CST.
• Second round elimination matches begin at 12pm CST.
• Final Four elimination matches begin at 1pm CST.
• Championship Matches begin upon conclusion of Final Four matches, going in order of Light > Medium > Heavy > Assault.

Example of Tournament Progression with 32 players and CST timezone:

• Second round elimination matches begin at 12pm CST.
• Third round elimination matches begin at 1pm CST.
• Final Four elimination matches begin at 2pm CST.

Mechs and Consumables:
• No ‘Mech restrictions.
• No Consumable restrictions.
No Shows:
• All players must be in the private match lobby and ready to drop within 10 minutes of the matches start time. Failure to do so is a forfeit.
• If your opponent fails to show up, you must provide a screenshot(s) of yourself in the private lobby with no opponent.
• Post No Show matches in your respective weight class results section.
• I will attempt to contact any no-shows via in-game and forum message, if I do not get a response within 10 minutes, the no-show will forfeit the match.
The “twist”:
• A player may only signup with one Chassis, and cannot change Chassis when the tournament goes live. They may change Variant, but they must play that specific Chassis.
• A player may request to change their Chassis and Weight Class selection, providing a minimum 48 hours notice before tournament launch time.
• I reserve the right to deny Chassis/Weight Class change requests based on bracket impact.
Brackets
• Each weight class is soft capped at 16 pilots. If the demand for a weight class is high enough, it will be increased to 32.
• 32 pilots per weight class is the hard cap.
• The Brackets will be expanded by 4 as people join. There is a chance some players will have a first round bye. Unfortunately there is no way to work around this without imposing minimum player number requirements.
Due to the current requirements of PGI for private matches, both players need Premium Time. #PGIPLS.
• If you do not have premium time, but a friend does and they are willing, they may drop with you. No more than one additional person may drop with you. They may not move from spawn. They may not fire at your opponent. They must be dead from self-destruction within 20 seconds of the round going live. Any violation will be forfeiture of the match.
• There are no restrictions for your opponent during the 20 second window. It is fully legal for them to move and shoot you.
• You are allowed to move from spawn, shoot, and engage your opponent during the 20 second window.
Personal Conduct:
• No Racism.
• General smack talk along the lines of “rekt” and “ggclose” is allowed. I am not going to ban smack talk. This is a competition and with it does come smack talk, that said, remember this is a public forum and event, and the manner you conduct yourself reflects upon yourself and your unit.
Disputes, Grievances, and CYA:
• All disputes/grievances will be handled in the order they are received.
• All disputes/grievances must be supported by screenshots and/or video. If there are no screenshots or video, the match result will stand.
• All disputes/grievances must be submitted immediately after the match, and will be reviewed immediately in order of submission.
• You may not file a dispute/grievance until the match is completed.
• I reserve the right to call you an idiot if you submit a dispute/grievance that is stupid. Don’t be that guy. Nobody likes that guy.
• CYA = Cover Your Ass. If you agree to an early start time, request additional re-drops, whatever, do yourself a favor and screenshot it/record it in case the person you are playing against is “that guy”.
